Lone Star Action Sports travels the country putting on BMX and inline skating stunt shows at schools and fairs. They needed a logo that would communicate their aggressive style on apparel, banners and vehicles.
Crafted Ireland offers tours of Ireland that are tailored to the specific interests of their clients. We chose the red deer–the only species native to Ireland–as an alternative to the common symbols and images associated with the island.

Crytpozoic needed a playful logo for their board game, “Hot Rod Creeps,” that would work with the zany character illustrations and capture that classic hot rod feeling.
The King Bucks are an outlaw country band from Dallas, Texas who play music in the style of Waylon, Willie, and Merle. It was important to create a logo that would fit right in with the graphics of outlaw country’s heyday, and we settled on the version to the right. Below it are a couple of other options I gave them that were strongly considered, and I also created a “modeled” version of the logo I created for their album cover.
UltraViolet is an annual concert and art auction held in Dallas, Texas to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. The event was named after my friends’ daughter, Violet, and we raise money in hopes that better science and technology will help her to lead a life free of this high-maintenence disease. This logo has been used on posters promoting the event as well as apparel, buttons, and other marketing pieces.
This logo was created for Cryptozoic’s card game, “Food Fight!” I took a “retro diner” graphic approach to integrate the logo with Robb Mommaerts’ quirky illustrations.
I created this logo (and alternate graphics below) for a band I play in with my wife. We have used them for stickers and T-shirts.
The first two logos on this page were created for 2 different models of BMX bikes produced by Hoffman Bikes, a leader in BMX bikes and accessories. The company was started in 1991 by BMX legend Mat Hoffman and his close friend and riding buddy, Steve Swope. The two logos at the bottom are other concepts that were also presented to the company.
